Creative Couple's Session - Seattle Couples Photographer PNW Wedding Photographer

Hello!

Scroll to the bottom to see HOW to book your session, but first, enoy this one.

You don’t have to be married to get some cool images made, you just have to adore each other! I had the best time getting creative with this amazing couple. I met R+K at a party on Thanksgiving. Sometimes you still get to meet people organically. These two are both librarians- which I love. And Kristy is a DJ and also runs a super fun vintage boutique, DREAMPOP PLAYHOUSE (check em out on insta)

And both Rene and Kristi are CAT PEOPLE, amazing. Although I am just an animal person(I love all the animals) there is something about cat people that I truly appreciate. I want to write a poem about this. Since I know that others are so much better at that - I found THIS BOOK - cat poetry what!???

I love working with people that appreciate creativity and want to get a little bit weird!

When I asked Kristy about how she and Rene met, she told me the following beautiful story.

“René and I connected on Hinge in late December, right before the pandemic began. I had only been using dating apps for about a year and was already over them. However, he commented on my profile’s non-negotiable, “Your politics need to be left AF,” with “Mos def,” and also made a joke saying he thought my hometown of Kalamazoo was fictional. I remembered passing by his profile previously, being attracted to him, and thinking he was funny, but he also said he was looking for someone who didn’t want something serious, as he was moving to Mexico City, and I knew that wasn’t me. But this time, his profile no longer said that….
We met up after I deejayed a friend’s vintage market for drinks. I immediately felt an energy between us. He was handsome, stylish, hilarious, and easy to talk to. Every time his hand brushed my leg or rested on my knee, I felt an intense body buzz. He asked if I wanted to continue the date, so we went to Lost Lake for food and talked about how All Cats Are Beautiful and so many other things. We kissed and more of that buzzy feeling happened.

We now both work at the Library, enjoy taking our 15 year-old cat and 8 month old kitten for walks, traveling, camping, thrifting, vegan cooking, reading near one another, and chasing the sun.“

THANK YOU Kristy and Rene! It was a pleasure to work with you both!
