THANK YOU FOR BOOKING WITH ME!

WHAT’S NEXT? We choose a location! Here are the locations I have explored so far in Sedona.

First up, Doe Mountain. Its about a 30 minute hike, and it’s a little bit of an ass kicker but SO worth it. So far in my experience not a lot of people. Red Rock Pass required, you can pay at the parking lot.

SECRET SLICK ROCK

SECRET SLICK ROCK

SECRET SLICK ROCK. SHHHH, Don’t tell. 10 minute walk in super easy and we can shoot in the trees along the path to the red rocks. No pass required.

SCHNEBLY HILL VISTA

Schnebly Hill Vista

EASY! We shoot all around the parking lot. Best at Sunset.

WATER?

CRESCENT MOON RANCH

I love this place. It opens at 7 am and that is the best time to avoid the crowds. This shoot with the woman alone, we did at 5:30 and just found a private spot to get in the creek. The couple and I met at 7 am. The cathedral view is not in the best light at that time. There is a pretty field with a view of Cathedral- we just had to dodge people going by.

After this we headed to Lover’s Knoll which was a perfect place to grab some sunset photos just down the street at a popular lookout point. We shot at Lover’s Knoll for about 20 minutes. I will include those images after the Crescent Ranch batch.

FLOAT! CRESCENT MOON RANCH

LOVER’S KNOLL

It’s just a lookout point, easy breezy. Can be very crowded. We shot these after a water session at sunset at Crescent Ranch. We just got here for the last 20 minutes of light.

WEST FORK!

BUSY BUT PEOPLE CAN BE AVOIDED. BEST AT 7AM or 2 hours before sunset. Red Rock Pass.

SECRET CREEK! I don’t know the name but it’s a secret locals spot. Perfect for a quick water add on session.

We meet at Secret Slick Rock parking lot at 6:45 am and go down to a secret locals creek spot. 7 am is good light and we have it to ourselves.

SUGAR LOAF TRAIL

THE PARKING LOT IS TINY!! Like 10 spots so get there early incase you have to wait. I will ride my moto here so I can park.25 minutes up to this epic spot. Not too steep but definitely a hill.
