Epic Whidbey Island Family Photo Shoot - Whidbey Island Photographer

Whidbey Island Family Photographer

I am so in love with Whidbey Island. Besides the beauty, the energy and history capture me. Family photo sessions on the island are among my favorite places to shoot. We headed to Ebey’s Landing and shot for an hour and a half as the smoky sunset surrounded us with it’s beauty.

This family session was with extended family. Unfortunately, grandpa was in France so he was there in spirit. This session included two sisters, one with her husband and four children, the other with her husband and two pit bulls, and grandma who made it all. This shoot was our fourth shoot working together and I just LOVE these people. A few of them have homes on the island so we started the shoot there to capture the place where all the kids love to visit so much. This family is always a ton of fun to work with and I always love the outfits they choose. Love the neutral earthy tones and flowy vibe in nature.

Ironically, our littlest sister who was the most resistant, ended up with so many adorable photos. Sometimes after a shoot with so much happening the entire time, I wonder what just happened? I had so much fun editing this shoot. The way I connected with these guys is fun, one of these sisters was my favorite yoga instructor and I nicknamed her “The Punisher” because she kicked my ass every time.

I will never ever ever get sick of childhood and motherhood memories captured forever, especially for multiple generations.
