Riding a motorcycle is a thrilling and exhilarating experience that brings a unique sense of happiness and freedom. What’s another unique feeling that humans seek out more than anything in life? LOVE!

These two are soul mates, and I’m here for that.

Love and motorcycles are equal parts sexy, exciting, and fun. I love the combo of all of these elements, and mixed with a little fire.

Photographing love is what I do best, and when Dylan said he always had wanted a shoot like this, I was elated to do it. We did this shoot right in their backyard. They built a fire, we had music going, and a bunch of dogs running around. Pretty much heaven.

It was a really fun shoot! Being a motorcycle rider myself, I really loved the concept.

LOVE AND RIDING A BIKE. How are they similar?

Vulnerability and Trust: Riding a motorcycle requires a level of vulnerability as you expose yourself to the one million external elements. Similarly, being in love often involves opening up emotionally, making oneself vulnerable, and trusting another person with your feelings.

Risk and Reward: Riding a motorcycle comes with an element of risk, and the reward is the thrill and adventure it brings. Love, too, involves taking emotional risks, and the reward is the fulfillment, companionship, and happiness it can bring.

Euphoria AND Challenges: Both experiences have moments of euphoria and just pure ecstasy, as well as challenges and obstacles to overcome. The highs and lows in both riding and love contribute to the overall richness of the experience.

Therapeutic Effect: For many riders, the act of riding is a form of therapy. The rhythmic hum of the engine, the tactile feedback from the road, and the solitude of the ride can provide a meditative and stress-relieving experience. Love is also therapeutic.
