Beautiful PNW Winter Extended Family Session- Seattle Family Photographer

People often ask me if they can have extended family at their photo session. HECK YES! I LOVE multigenerational photoshoots. It may be extra special to me because I lost my grandmother at an early age, and there are very few photos of us together. So as I always say, these sessions heal my inner child.

For this family photoshoot, I headed south about an hour and a half to a small town called Onalaska, Washington. This gathering was at grandma’s house, or as the little ones call her “Avo.” Adorable.

Angela had her two children and their children over for the day, and man we had some fun. At lease I did!

The rain was stop and go, so we took breaks inside to play some music, have a few snacks, and warm up. The gang was full of all of the personalities possible. We had out introverts and extroverts. We had a few mood swings, as with any shoot involving the little ones. We went with the flow and it all turned out beautiful. I absolutely loved this family session, and I am forever grateful that they chose me!

This little sweet soul dancing in the rain is a moment I will never forget! It says so much about her unique and beautiful personality.

This gallery had so many images and full of beauty, it was hard to choose the images for this post. We shot for about two hours total, with small breaks. This is a good amount of time when there is extended family. When I sent off the sneak peaks the following day, I also asked if I could be adopted into the family, and the answer was YES.

Here is a clip from the family movie that came with this session. Thank you for being here!
