I had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl when she hired me to do a self love, women empowerment photoshoot in Sedona, Arizona. She is as darling of a human as they come and I adored her right away. We had so much fun during this shoot! She has the ability to make you feel very comfortable and empowered. And that is my job! Her energy is pure magic.

Self-love - what does heck does it mean?? It’s the practice of valuing, appreciating, and nurturing yourself in a way that promotes well-being, happiness, and personal growth. It’s about recognizing your worth, embracing your imperfections, and treating yourself with the same kindness and compassion you would offer a loved one.
Embracing Imperfections- Loving yourself includes accepting your flaws, mistakes, and quirks as natural parts of being human. It’s about striving for growth, not perfection. It involves identifying and pursuing what truly makes you happy.

“My natural grit allowed me to keep going in the face of hardship, but it was through meditation and yoga that I found grace for myself. I realized that I didn’t need to strive for perfection, and it was okay to give myself the time and space to just be. I reconnected with my higher power, trusting God to guide me through all life’s ups and downs and ins and outs of life. A sense of inner peace and self-awareness blossomed inside me.
My journey to living my best life and stepping into my greatness is ongoing. I am constantly learning new tools for personal growth, healing, and self-care, while keeping up-to-date on the latest research in these areas. I also practice what I preach every day so that my clients know my work is more than a source of income -- it’s my soul's purpose!”
My photo sessions are deeply connected with nature. I encourage bare feet for at least part of the shoot to get grounded and connect with the earth. When Cheryl started playing her instruments, I felt like the luckiest photographer on the planet. It was so beautiful and special, I could feel it in my bones. The power of a sound bath, that to me is more than words.

I will be both participating and documenting the event. And- bonus!! SELF LOVE sessions in the jungle are available if you so desire to shoot with me. You can book a mini (30 minutes) or a full 60 minute shoot. I LOVE WORKING WITH WOMEN. I am so excited about this retreat both for my healing and my creative journey. 30 minutes $400 and you get 30 photos. Hour shoot (okay maybe a little longer:) $850 and you get 80-100 images. These shoots take place at sunrise or sunset.
