S+D, a True Love Session - Seattle Intimate Couple’s Photographer
This session, hands down one of my favorites. You can have a couple’s session like this anytime, it doesn’t have to revolve around a wedding or an engagement. An intimate portrait session can be an incredibly meaningful and valuable experience for a couple. Here are some reasons why:
An intimate portrait session allows you to capture special moments between you and your partner that usually only you two see. These photos can serve as a beautiful reminder of your love and connection.
Celebrating your relationship: A portrait session can also be a way to celebrate your relationship and your commitment to each other. It can be a special way to mark a milestone, such as an anniversary or engagement.
Building Intimacy : Being in front of the camera together can be a vulnerable experience, but it can also help you build intimacy and deepen your connection as a couple.
Creating lasting memories: The photos from an intimate portrait session can be treasured keepsakes that you can look back on for years to come. They can be a beautiful representation of your relationship at a particular moment in time.
Personal growth: Stepping outside your comfort zone and participating in a portrait session can also be a way to challenge yourself and grow as an individual and as a couple.
Overall, an intimate portrait session can be a powerful way to celebrate your relationship and create lasting memories together.
I cannot say enough good about this couple and our time together in the studio on this day. They were VERY nervous and had never had a photoshoot before. Let’s be real, most of us haven’t. Maybe you got some wedding photos -or a family shoot or two, but everyone is a little nervous. My superpower is being a dork and making people forget that they are nervous.
S and D were married in the courthouse without a photographer. Somehow I just find that romantic.
I had no set intentions on this shoot, I just wanted to make them as comfortable as possible in front of the camera and capture them being themselves. I like to take a few portraits looking at the camera, but typically my sessions are all about the connection between people.
We laughed, I brought my pug who brings comedic relief, we listened to Rock N Roll, and YOU GUYS…. they actually had fun! I had a blast and I cannot wait to hang out with them again, hopefully on motorcycles.
We ended up with some very real and intimate portraits that they can enjoy hopefully forever. Imagine looking back at these from your rocking chair when your 80. That’s all this photographer can wish for.
Thanks you guys, I look forward to the next time.
