Family Photos in the Studio- Seattle Family Photographer

As winter abruptly arrived this year, robbing us of any Fall, I quickly realized that it was time to find a new studio to shoot in that matches my brand. I believe in manifesting, and just then Indie Studio Space popped up in my Instagram feed. Boom, manifestation- check. I loved the old Seattle loft/Bohemian vibe, not to mention the color scheme is earthy and matches my website. Bonus.

This family was really great to work with and this session flowed smoothly. Often with the little ones it can sometimes feel like beautiful chaos, and this felt more like herding cats(insert laugh emoji) SUPER CUTE CATS, I might add. Let it be known- I embrace said chaos, that’s part of why I love this job. Working with kids can be hilarious and so rewarding. I absolutely love knowing that I get to capture images of them, and maybe someday THEIR kids will be looking at these images. And long after I’m gone -their grandkids will hopefully be looking at them too.

Anyway, I hope these images give you-my future clients- an idea of what to expect while shooting in this beautiful old rustic Pioneer Square studio space with me. It has heat, a bathroom, running water, and plenty of room to shoot in different areas adding variety to your gallery.

Earth tones look great in this room. Browns, golds, greens, ivory. And you can bring a bag of clothing options like this famiy did, and I helped make the final decisions.
