Outdoor Boudoir Session - Seattle Boudoir Photographer
This shoot was a surprise gift for this GORGEOUS woman’s soon to be husband. They were set to get married in New York, and the PNW is a special place for them. So we set out to go to the mountains on a weekday and hope for no people. And we WON. At the wedding in New York, photographing her now husband opening this gift was also a gift for me. So fun. She brought a bag of a few outfits, and we just played out in the wild. My favorite kind of photoshoot. If you are looking for a photographer who can make you feel comfortable, help you pose, and laugh and play while we make some unforgettable art out of you, I am your girl.
Reclaiming Feminine Power
There are many images that you don’t get to see here, wink wink. If you are asking yourself why would you want to do a photoshoot like this, I’ve got a few answers.
Spiritual Benefits of taking it out in nature:
That Sense of Freedom and Liberation. Shedding clothes can symbolize shedding societal expectations and constraints, leading to a profound sense of freedom.
Spiritual connection. For some, being nude in nature can be a spiritual experience, enhancing a sense of connection to the earth and the universe.
Inspiration for Creativity: The experience can inspire artistic expression, such as photography, painting, or writing, capturing the essence of natural beauty and human form.
“As we create, this wild and mysterious being is creating us in return, filling us with love. We are evoked in the way creatures are evoked by sun and water. We are made so alive that we in turn give life out; we burst, we bloom, we divide and multiply, we impregnate, incubate, impart, and give forth.”
"...A woman's creative ability is her most valuable asset, for it gives outwardly and feeds her inwardly at every level: psychic, spiritual, mental, emotive, and economic...As we create, this wild and mysterious being is creating us in return, filling us with love."
"Creativity is the love of something, having so much love for something whether a person, a word, an image, an idea, a land, or humanity that all that can be done with the overflow is to create. It is not a matter of wanting to, not a singular act of will, one solely must."

A woman empowerment photoshoot can be a powerful experience with numerous personal benefits. Weather it’s just for you or for a present for your partner, let me list several reasons why someone might choose to participate in such a photoshoot.
Therapeutic Experience: The process of being photographed can be therapeutic, helping women to heal from past traumas and reclaim their sense of power and autonomy.
Empowerment and Liberation: It can be an empowering act of self-liberation, helping women to assert control over their bodies and narratives.
Challenging Stereotypes: By showcasing diverse representations of women, these photoshoots can challenge societal stereotypes and promote inclusivity.
Commemorating Personal Journeys: Documenting personal journeys, including transformations and achievements, can be deeply empowering and affirming.
