SEDONA SELF LOVE PHOTOSHOOT - SEDONA AND SEATTLE WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

It was impossible for me to narrow down my favorites from this shoot. The whole thing was my favorite!

It wasn’t easy either. Ashley hiked a small mountain after getting off a plane and driving 2 hours. She changed several times out in the wild, and walked barefoot amongst the cactus. (I highly recommend being barefoot and grounding on these red rocks)

She got in freezing cold snow melt water twice. She took some nude shots, something that is both vulnerable AF, and empowering.

I love the dresses she chose! Two of these are mine and I do love bringing adding dresses and accessories to a shoot.

“Be wild; that is how to clear the river. The river does not flow in polluted, we manage that. The river does not dry up, we block it. If we want to allow it its freedom, we have to allow our ideational lives to be let loose, to stream, letting anything come, initially censoring nothing. That is creative life. It is made up of divine paradox. To create one must be willing to be stone stupid, to sit upon a throne on top of a jackass and spill rubies from one’s mouth. Then the river will flow, then we can stand in the stream of it raining down.”

“I hope you will go out and let stories, that is life, happen to you, and that you will work with these stories... water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom.” - Women who Run with the Wolves

Surrender to the flow of the River of Life, yet do not float down the river like a leaf or a log. While neither attempting to resist life nor to hurry it, become the rudder and use your energy to correct your course to avoid the whirlpools and undertow.” – Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Thank you SO SO much Ashley for coming all the way from Seattle to Sedona to shoot and adventure with me! For anyone in the Seattle area, Ashley owns Lady Wolf Studio in Seattle and is an extremely talented lady! She is a cosmetic tattoo artist and esthetician, and loves everything eyebrows and freckles.
”I've been working with eyebrows and skincare for six years as an Esthetician. I became fascinated with the stunning difference eyebrows can make in a person's appearance. They can create balance, enhance your features, and help restore what may have been lost due to a multitude of reasons and conditions.
Brows are powerful!”

I could not agree more Ashley!

You can find her awesome business on insta HERE at microbladerunner or on her website here at LADY WOLF STUDIO
