When Love Flows Like Water- Seattle Couple’s Photographer

Love, like water, has a fluid and adaptable nature that allows it to flow in various ways.

S+M and I did this shoot when they first started dating. They didn’t know it at the time, but they would end up getting married and having a beautiful baby boy. I was lucky enough to capture both of those milestones. I will never forget that Miles was super nervous and had not had a professional photoshoot before. He ended up getting so into it! He was a natural. Simone has acting and modeling experience, and has a beautiful heart and soul. She was born to do this.

Most anyone I shoot with knows that I am obsessed with water. I LOVE water shoots. Being a nature lover and a hippie, I believe in the magic of water as well. This couple’s shoot was mostly all done in the water. Usually I have people hop in at the end. We just were having SO MUCH FUN.

Water and love, so similar. Water exhibits a transient and ephemeral beauty, especially in its fluid movements and reflections. This fleeting nature adds to its enchantment, reminding us to appreciate the present moment. And moments like these too, are also fleeting.

Water can erode even the toughest of surfaces over time. Similarly, love has the capacity to break down emotional barriers, allowing individuals to open up, trust, and connect with each other on a deeper level.

Water is essential for the survival of life on Earth. Love is often considered a fundamental aspect of human existence, providing emotional and social support that contributes to overall well-being.

Water in a river flows harmoniously, finding its way around obstacles. Love, when nurtured with understanding and empathy, can create harmony in relationships, allowing individuals to navigate challenges together.

I love the book ‘‘The Hidden Messages of Water’

Understanding the fact that we are essentially water is the key to uncovering the mysteries of the universe. If you reexamine the world around you from this new perspective, you will start to see things as you have never seen them before.” Dr. Masaru Emoto

Whidbey Island Washington Photographer

“The various events that unfold throughout a person’s life are events reflected in water. The individual and society make up one enormous ocean; by adding our individual drops to this ocean, we participate in the formation of society.”

“All things vibrate, and they vibrate at their own frequencies. When you understand this, you will significantly broaden your understanding of the universe.”

“The message of water is love and gratitude.”

On talking to water….

“Water exposed to the words ‘Thank you’ formed beautiful geometric crystals, no matter what the language. But water exposed to ‘You fool’ and other degrading words resulted in obviously broken and deformed crystals.” - all from the book ‘The Hidden Messages of Water’ by Dr. Masaru Emoto

Thank you S+M for sticking with me. My message, like the water, is of love and gratitude.
